Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Fort Collins, Colorado
Description We are recruiting for an Accounting Clerk role within our Construction/Contractor industry team based in FORT COLLINS, Colorado. This role involves a range of accounting tasks, from account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to billing and data entry. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Managing account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate records
• Overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payments and receipts
• Coordinating billing operations to provide accurate invoices to customers
• Performing data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date records
• Processing invoices efficiently to ensure timely payments
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Conducting expense reconciliation to verify accuracy of reports
• Using Sage Software for various accounting processes
• Calculating and applying sales tax where applicable
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues relating to credit applications and accounts Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Expertise in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Expense Reconciliation
• Knowledge of Sage Software
• Understanding of Sales Tax regulations in relation to the Construction/Contractor industry
• Minimum two years experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
