Description
We have a client in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals in order to succeed in this deadline-driven role with minimal supervision. Robert Half wants interested candidates to apply today for this permanent role. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Fort Collins, Colorado area and will be a permanent position. The Bookkeeper is in charge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliation, and other projects assigned by the Controller. Also, the Bookkeeper will handle coding, light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. Apply today!
Key responsibilities
Familiar with Accounts Receivable
Qualified in credit card management and reconciliation
Other unique projects when they come up
Verify monthly accounting close
Provide cash flow projections, as needed
Sustain a general ledger
Sustain Accounts Payable
Oversee monthly accounting close
Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Draw up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Requirements - Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Deep understanding of account reconciliation
Experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Adeptness in account reconciliation
Demonstrated knowledge of journal entries
Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired
Strong organization skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong communication and social skills
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
