Robert Half Data Entry Specialist in Fort Collins, Colorado



We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all platforms.


  • Data Entry: Input a variety of data, including but not limited to, text, numerical, and alphanumeric information, into databases, spreadsheets, and other software systems.

  • Accuracy: Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry by verifying and cross-referencing information for consistency and correctness.

  • Timeliness: Meet established deadlines for data entry tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and reports.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on entered data to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.

  • Organization: Maintain organized records and files of entered data for easy retrieval and reference.

  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and adhere to data protection policies and procedures.

  • Communication: Collaborate with team members to communicate any issues or concerns regarding data quality or integrity.

  • Efficiency: Continuously seek ways to improve data entry processes and efficiency, implementing best practices and tools as appropriate.



  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in data entry, computer science, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry or administrative support role preferred; familiarity with data entry software and tools a plus.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.

  • Typing Speed: Proficient typing skills with a high degree of speed and accuracy.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with data entry software or databases.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data for inconsistencies or errors and take appropriate corrective actions.

  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
