Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role is primarily focused on the management of customer credit applications, upkeep of customer credit records, and resolution of any customer credit inquiries. This role is also tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts to ensure timely collection of delinquent payments.
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately processing customer credit applications
• Maintaining precise records of customer credit information
• Resolving customer inquiries related to credit
• Monitoring customer credit accounts
• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Ensuring accurate data entry of Accounts Payable invoices into TOPS
• Posting entries and invoices into the system
• Managing checks and deposits into the system
• Reconciliation of ledger and addressing any issues
• Collaborating with other teams for effective communication
• Using MS Excel for various tasks including, but not limited to, payroll processing.
This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.
• Solid understanding and working experience with TOPS software.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, including creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas.
• Experience in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with check deposit procedures and check runs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to continuously improve and update skills as needed.
