Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the construction industry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with managing payables, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations, among other duties. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and match invoices with their corresponding documents
• Regularly conduct check runs and deposit checks
• Maintain a high volume of payables and keep track of job costs
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
• Use software for data entry and report pulling, training will be provided
• Utilize skills in QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Ensure all accounts payable tasks are done accurately
• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Maintain accurate customer records and update them as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
• Ability to handle Check Runs efficiently
• Competence in Coding Invoices is expected
• Strong Data Entry skills are essential
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Oracle software is preferred
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is expected
• Knowledge of SAP is beneficial
