Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Order Processing specialist in Fort Lee, New Jersey. In this role, you will be actively involved in the management of inventory and processing of purchase and sales orders within our team. Your proficiency in data entry and use of software like QuickBooks will be crucial in carrying out your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Managing inventory to ensure availability and timely delivery of products.

• Tracking orders meticulously to keep all involved parties updated on the status.

• Processing purchase orders with meticulous attention to detail.

• Assisting with sales orders, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.

• Providing status updates to customers and internal teams on a regular basis.

• Using software tools like QuickBooks for efficient data entry and order processing.

• Collaborating closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies in orders.

• Ensuring all customer inquiries related to orders are addressed promptly and professionally.

• Taking proactive action in monitoring customer accounts to prevent or resolve issues.

• Adhering to all company policies and regulations in the execution of all responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in order entry and data entry operations

• Ability to manage and process purchase orders effectively

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software for financial management

• Strong organizational skills to ensure orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with customers and other departments

• High attention to detail to avoid errors in order processing

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Problem-solving skills to handle any issues that arise in the order processing workflow

• High school diploma or equivalent education level

• Previous experience in order processing or a similar role is advantageous.
