We are offering an exciting opportunity in Fort Myers, or Naples, Florida, for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer who is keen on making a significant impact in a growing legal market. This role involves a focus on wills, trusts, estate and guardianship administration and litigation, with some planning involved. The Attorney/Lawyer will become part of a dynamic practice and is expected to contribute to the community.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on wills, trusts, estate and guardianship administration and litigation

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to the aforementioned areas

• Handle civil litigation and court proceedings at state, federal, and criminal levels

• Prepare and review documentation for litigation proceedings

• Provide legal advice on estate planning to clients

• Manage cases related to courts - state, federal

• Conduct deposition summaries and present findings

• Engage in community activities to understand the needs and developments in Southwest Florida

• Collaborative work with the team to ensure smooth operations of the practice

• Take over dynamic practice and contribute to its growth over the years.

Requirements

• Must have a JD and barred in Florida

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney or lawyer is required

• Proven experience in civil litigation and estate planning is essential

• Proficiency in legal research and the ability to draft legal documents effectively

• Experience working with state, federal, and criminal courts is necessary

• Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise deposition summaries

• Knowledge and understanding of legal documentation processes

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion at all times

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of integrity and professional accountability.
