Robert Half Analytics Engineer in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania
Description We are on the lookout for a Systems Analyst in the Clinical Research Organizations industry, based in FORT WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania. The role involves working on the design, development, and maintenance of an enterprise data platform tailored to the needs of a clinical trials business. It requires technical proficiency to execute complex data product development along with strong communication and leadership skills to liaise with the wider business.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement robust data pipelines using the best available tooling, ensuring data quality and freshness requirements are met.
• Adopt a DataOps mindset, enhancing processes, data platform design, and tooling to minimize system maintenance and monitoring work as system complexity increases.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with technical (analytics, data science, IT) and non-technical teams (marketing, clinical) ensuring their operational and analytical data needs are met.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by researching and integrating the latest data tooling and best practices into development processes.
• Develop and manage ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes for timely and accurate data availability across systems.
• Execute data responsibilities including data preparation, data modeling, and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into understandable terms and actionable insights.
• Stay updated on emerging data technologies, methodologies, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
• Offer mentorship to more entry level members and technical guidance across the business to maximize the impact of your expertise. Requirements • Proficiency in Database and DB2 Database systems
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Experience with IBM and Microsoft systems
• Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies
• Ability to create clear and detailed Business Requirement Documents
• Understanding of Computer Hardware components and their functionalities
• Proficiency in Configuration Management
• Experience in coordinating, planning, and supporting IT Deployments
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Prior experience in a Clinical Research Organization is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
