Description
We are on the hunt for a diligent Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager to be a part of our team located in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. The chosen candidate will be a part of a dynamic team. This role involves managing accounting functions, oversight of accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month end duties and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage and execute accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Handle oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Utilize Sage Software and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks and reporting.
• Conduct audits as required, ensuring all financial operations are transparent and compliant.
• Participate in budget processes, assisting in the creation of financial plans and forecasts.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues relating to accounting functions.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting realm
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems to manage financial records and transactions
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Familiarity with Auditing processes and principles to ensure financial transparency and compliance
• Experience in Budget Processes to assist in planning and forecasting financial objectives
• Proficiency in Sage Software to manage accounting operations effectively or similar accounting systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.
