Robert Half Data Entry Clerk in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Description We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for updating control plans, processing data entries, and ensuring the accuracy of customer records. This role is critical to our operations and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:
• Handle data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
• Update control plans as needed to reflect the most current information
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in our database
• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all data entries are in compliance with company standards and procedures
• Use Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and organize data effectively
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding data management
• Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and systems
• Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential.
• Prior experience in a role involving Data Entry is necessary.
• Must have excellent typing skills with high levels of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines is necessary.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
