Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Description We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team based in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the books for various clients, including tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll tax computations.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the books for a diverse set of clients
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
• Perform data entries in a timely and accurate manner
• Conduct monthly and quarterly payroll tax calculations
• Prepare year-end W-2 and 1099 forms
• Ensure all account reconciliation tasks are completed
• Perform bank reconciliations as needed
• Utilize QuickBooks and MS Excel for all bookkeeping tasks
• Close the books at the end of each month
• Address and resolve any client inquiries as they arise. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial
• Experience with month-end closing procedures is required
• Proficient in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
• Must be skilled in using MS Excel for data management and analysis
• Experience in tax preparation, specifically payroll tax, is necessary
• Must have expertise in account reconciliation procedures
• Experience in conducting bank reconciliations is essential.
