Description
We are in search of a Controller/HR professional to join our team in the professional services industry, based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As an Executive on the Sr. Management team you will be responsible for handling payroll and accounting as well as human resources across multiple locations, directly reporting to the ownership team.
Responsibilities
• Process payroll across multiple locations.
• Administer HR responsibilities for three different locations.
• Report directly to the President
• Schedule administrator staff as needed.
• Close month and year end operations in an efficient manner.
• Administer benefits responsibly and effectively.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role with accounting and payroll responsibilities.
• Proficient in Month End Close procedures
• Experience with Year End Closings is required
• Demonstrated expertise in Benefits Administration
• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives
• Proven experience in managing a budget
• Ability to foster healthy employee relations
• Proficiency in making strategic business decisions
• Familiarity with various employment laws and practices.
