Robert Half Receptionist in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a PART-TIME Receptionist in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our office, as it involves a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our visitors and clients and will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and coordinating communication.

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8:00am-1:00pm)

Responsibilities: • Answer and direct phone calls, providing information about applying for assistance and redirecting calls internally as necessary. • Welcome and guide visitors as they arrive at the front door. • Record information from clients on applications and maintain accurate customer records. • Coordinate communication about scheduling appointments with customers. • Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including copying paperwork, filing, faxing, and mailing on a daily basis. • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions. • Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is clean and organized. • Run errands as needed, such as picking up supplies or delivering materials. • Participate in community events and provide assistance to the Township Trustee as needed. • Use Microsoft Office Suite and other related software proficiently to carry out tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Receptionist or in a similar role

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word)

• Experience with answering and managing a multi-line phone system

• Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role

• Proficient in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Excellent written communication skills, particularly for email correspondence

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals of all levels

• Proven ability to organize files and manage documentation

• Experience with scheduling appointments and managing calendars

• Ability to maintain a detail oriented and courteous demeanor in a busy and demanding environment.
