Our downtown Fort Worth client is seeking Accounts Payable Manager for a 3 to 6 month engagement. Hybrid 3 days in office. This role involves overseeing the entire process of Accounts Payable, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. You will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, enforcing organizational policies, and collaborating with different departments to improve accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department

• Manage the entire process of Accounts Payable, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices

• Review payment processing to ensure payments are made accurately and in a timely manner

• Enforce organizational policies and compliance requirements related to accounts payable

• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures for accounts payable

• Manage vendor relationships and handle any conflict or dispute concerning payments

• Collaborate with different departments to improve and streamline accounts payable processes

• Assist with any internal or external audit

• Utilize D365 as the primary ERP system

• Supervise and manage a small team of accounting staff.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur

• Ability to handle Data Processing tasks

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficient in Check Processing

• Ability to handle Discrepancy resolution

• Experience in Expense Reporting
