Responsibilities
Aid with financial deliverables for the executive team
Support financial analysis for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes
Prepare data mining tools and financial models for variance analysis
Conduct financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions
Analyze financials to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Supervise and oversee the operations of the financial planning team
Collaborate in cross-functional development teams to improve strategic issues
Analyze budget and fiscal assumptions in the creation of operating plans
Draw up operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
Manage all aspects of staff, including recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Lead the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and financial analysis
Provide key financial analysis to inform both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Aid in regulatory filings
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
8+ years of experience in FP& A required
Strong business acumen required
2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
Excellent quantitative and qualitative abilities
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
Must be excellent at communicating and building relationships
The ideal candidate should be able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction
