Description An expanding Paper/Packaging company is looking for an ambitious candidate to fill a Human Resources Assistant position along their growing team. Thrive in a stimulating work environment as you handle a variety of personnel related administrative tasks, as well as provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities
Oversee employee database records
Explore the internet to locate potential customers
Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning
Perform various administrative duties Requirements - Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
Administrative Assistance experience desired
Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
Able to maintain an approachable and appropriate attitude when interacting with all levels of personnel in a rapidly changing environment
Familiar with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
