Robert Half Medical Receptionist in Fort Worth, Texas
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist role in the Healthcare/NHS industry based in FORT WORTH, Texas. This role will primarily involve front office duties in a healthcare setting, including greeting patients, answering phones, and data entry. Comprehensive knowledge of EHR SYSTEM, Medical software, Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Insurance, and Receptionist Duties are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients upon arrival and provide excellent customer service
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Handle occasional faxing duties as required
• Perform data entry tasks using Lytec software (training will be provided)
• Maintain a high attention to detail in all tasks
• Ensure the front office presents a professional and welcoming atmosphere
• Manage and resolve patient inquiries related to credit applications
• Monitor patient credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Prior experience of 2 or more years in a Medical Receptionist role or similar healthcare administrative position
• Proficiency in using EHR Systems and other medical software
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
• Experience handling billing functions in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of health insurance policies and procedures
• Capable of performing receptionist duties such as managing appointments, answering phone calls, and greeting patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
• High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing patient records and billing information
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
