Description We are looking for a PowerBI Developer to join our team based in Fort Worth, Texas. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity focusing on the development of Microsoft SSRS and Power BI solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong skill set in SQL and SSRS and will be responsible for a range of duties within the IT industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Utilize Microsoft SSRS to create data-driven subscriptions, drill-down reports, and parameterized reports.

• Use SQL for complex query writing, stored procedures, views, and functions to support application development.

• Collaborate with team members to determine the best methods to portray data and analytics.

• Maintain and enhance existing SQL Server databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to data performance and quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document BI requirements.

• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.

• Continually identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.

• Uphold data privacy and protection guidelines. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

• Solid understanding of SQL for managing and manipulating data.

• Experience with SSRS for report generation and management.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication skills for presenting insights and working with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing principles.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is preferred.
