Description

We are looking for a talented Procurement Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies for local, regional, and national initiatives, managing supplier relationships and ensuring procurement standards are upheld across various projects. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to optimize sourcing operations, contributing to long-term success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for facility and project services at local, regional, and national levels.

  • Provide support to Integrated Facilities clients and internal teams, optimizing JLL-managed services and implementing sourcing initiatives.

  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring operational efficiency and addressing any issues or opportunities.

  • Act as a procurement and sourcing subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership on strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain data integrity in contract databases, ensuring compliance with procurement standards, COI, and supplier file management.

  • Collaborate with Legal and Risk Management teams to ensure all contractual terms meet company standards and are reviewed for compliance.

  • Conduct Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs), analyze results, and present strategic recommendations to the client.

  • Ensure adherence to sourcing policies, contracting procedures, risk management programs, and ethical guidelines.

  • Support Category Management teams by participating in supplier performance reviews and managing key supplier relationships.

  • Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BA/BS) or 4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contracts.

Proven ability to lead project teams in a decentralized environment.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced in contract negotiation.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, plan, and evaluate progress toward goals.

Experience with project management and business transitions is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively on price points and terms.
