Description
This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for working in fast-paced environments are musts. The company boasts excellent compensation and benefits and offers potential for advancement.
Your responsibilities in this role
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Adherence to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Participate in various department-wide initiatives

Requirements - Foundational knowledge in general ledger
Strong familiarity with Job Cost
Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting
Financial auditing experience highly desired
Expertise in month end closings
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Efficient in ERP systems
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
Able to manage time well
3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
