Description Within an innovative Manufacturing company, there's currently a full-time position open for an experienced Senior Accountant in the Fort Worth, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is based in Fort Worth, Texas with a company in the Manufacturing field.
Your responsibilities in this role
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting Requirements - 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Must have excellent time management skills
ERP system experience
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
