Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104, United States. This job function involves handling property accounting tasks, utilizing Yardi software, and performing heavy reconciliations. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in assisting the Controller in producing the first set of financials.

Responsibilities:

• Manage property accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize Yardi Property Management software for various accounting tasks

• Perform comprehensive account reconciliations regularly

• Engage in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

• Assist the Controller in the production of the first set of financials

• Maintain and update the general ledger as required

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Use Microsoft Excel to keep track of and analyze financial data

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during bank reconciliations. Requirements • Applicants must possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial records.

• Mastery in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required to maintain financial stability and transparency.

• Candidates should have experience in Bank Reconciliations, ensuring all transactions align with bank records.

• The ability to manage and maintain the General Ledger is essential for this role.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries is necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for efficient data organization and analysis.

• Applicants must have experience in Month End Close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Expertise in Property Accounting is required due to the nature of our business.

• Knowledge in using Yardi software is essential for efficient property and financial management.

• Experience in Yardi Property Management is a plus, as it is a primary tool we use in our operations.
