Robert Half Sr. Budget Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas
Description
Management Resources is seeking a Budget Analysts to provide temporary support for its sponsored projects division. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and grant management within the context of sponsored research projects. This role will ensure accurate budgeting, compliance, and financial oversight across various funded projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop, review, and manage budgets for sponsored research projects.
Perform in-depth financial analysis to ensure alignment with project goals and funding requirements.
Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying and addressing any budget variances.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and university regulations governing sponsored projects.
Collaborate with project managers, principal investigators, and other stakeholders to address financial inquiries.
Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes specific to sponsored projects.
Assist with preparing financial statements and budget forecasts as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in financial analysis or sponsored projects management are a plus.
Proven experience as a Budget Analyst or in a similar role within a research, academic, or health sciences environment.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial analysis for sponsored projects, grants, or federally funded programs.
Solid understanding of federal and university guidelines related to grant management and sponsored research.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within tight deadlines.
Proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
