Robert Half Test Automation Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Test Automation in Fort Worth, Texas. This role primarily involves Quality Assurance (QA) and automation testing, with a focus on JavaScript or TypeScript. The successful candidate will be expected to interface with clients, contribute to Agile - SCRUM CI/CD Dev Ops, and work with team members on integrating automation code to the pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Perform Code review.
Regularly share progress reports with customers.
Coordinate with customers on outstanding issues.
Collaborate with the team to integrate automation code into pipeline.
Requirements
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Qualifications:
8+ years of overall QA experience in Functional testing.
4-5 years or more hands-on experience on automation with JavaScript or TypeScript.
Knowledge of API Testing.
Familiarity with Selenium Java.
Prior experience in a client interfacing role.
Familiarity with GitHub, Mocha, Azure DevOps, and other code repository, build, and deployment tools.
Good Analytical and Troubleshooting skills.
Experience in Agile - SCRUM, CI/CD, Dev Ops.
Knowledge of Test Documentation/Test Processes - Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, RTM, defect management etc.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Hands on experience with Cypress or Playwrite.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training.
Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
