Robert Half Data Engineer in Forth Worth, Texas
Description We are seeking a Data Engineer based in Forth Worth, Texas. This role involves designing and implementing data models, developing automated workflows, collaborating with other professionals to develop data pipelines, and promoting best practices in data operations. Responsibilities:
• Design and implement dimensional data models and data warehousing features for business users and business processes.
• Develop automated workflows and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) for data engineering pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, business analysts, and data scientists to develop data pipelines/products and automation solutions.
• Develop tooling to facilitate data product development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Promote best practices in data operations, including source-to-target mapping, warehousing, and business intelligence.
• Contribute to a collaborative, open developer environment, offering advice and guidance for the sake of continuous improvement.
• Lead improvements in methodology or initiatives to address capability gaps or increase efficiency.
• Utilize skills in Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, HDFS, AB Testing, Analytics, AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Requirement Document. Requirements • Proficiency in Apache Spark
• Experience with Database management and optimization
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in Erwin Data
• In-depth understanding of HDFS
• Experience with AB Testing methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach
• Proficiency in AWS Technologies
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and practices
