Description

Robert Half Legal has an opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the BioTech industry. The Contracts Manager will conduct vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Individuals should be hungry to put their skills to the test in an active environment. This position is a remote position for the foreseeable future but will require onsite attendance at some point.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Maintain and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

  • Organize contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

  • Draft and outsource contracts

  • Advance and manage contract repositories

  • Own and maintain contracts database

  • Own internal and external requests on status of contracts

  • Govern the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

  • Direct and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should be able to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Management

  • Clinical Trial Operations experience preferred

  • Contract Negotiations experience preferred

  • Non-disclosure agreements experience

  • Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented

    • Ideal candidate must have adept computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
  • Experience in review and drafting of non-disclosure agreements; preferably, some exposure to software evaluation and licensing agreements

  • Able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment

  • Trained in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Have strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
