Excellent Opportunity as a Regional Finance Manager for a growing manufacturing company south of Nashville

Essential Functions of the Regional Finance Manager

-Responsible for Canada, Mexico, and the US Teams

  • Provide the assigned region or entitie(s) with professional accounting and financial services, expertise, governance, and control

-Define, recommend and implement standards, policies, procedures and systems in order to facilitate units’ performance analysis as well as management decision making through accurate, reliable and timely financial information and to provide external stakeholders with financial information in line with all legal and accounting requirements

-Contribute to a strategy which serves as a framework that leads decision-making and an operational plan that directs (financial) activities

-Ensure accounting information is accurately and timely processed compliant to local legislation

-Optimize utilization of the working capital throughout the company, respecting corporate objectives and bank agreement conditions

-Provide business/financial information that enables the management and/or other stakeholders to make (timely) decisions and determine or adjust strategy

-Coordinate communication and ensure accuracy of financial figures and related working papers to external parties (auditors, government authorities, etc.)

-Ensure information is exchanged timely, adequately and in compliance with internal agreements and external obligations and the verification of accounting records is facilitated

-Coordinate the general accounting and costing functions in the budgeting and forecasting processes; contribute to the control and monitoring of the efficient and effective use of

(financial) resources and the right allocation of costs

-Ensure all budgeting and forecasting assumptions are implemented and documented in the company’s financial systems

-Continuously signal and act upon opportunities for improving financial/accounting systems, processes, procedures & principles, translating business requirements into financial

functional requirements monitoring compliance and managing deviations

-Provide Clear, consistent and up-to-date financial policies, systems and processes that are fully compliant with Group’s accounting manual and generally accepted accounting

principles

Qualifications of the Regional Finance Manager

-Expert in SAP

-Manufacturing experience (10+ years preferred)

-Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)

-Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting methods

-Ability to communicate effectively with operations

-Strong management/leadership skills
