Job Description
As a Staff Accountant, you will assist in various financial functions such as maintaining the general ledger, verifying financial records and transactions, and preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports, contributing to the operations and understanding of company performance.
Collaborate with the accounting team on accounting projects and initiatives.
Assist the senior accountants with WIP Work-In-Progress accounting.
Assist in the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and managing specific accounts.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, along with variance analysis.
Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
0+ years of experience in the accounting field.
Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Interest or prior exposure to the manufacturing industry is a plus but not required.
Exceptional organization skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
