Robert Half is looking to hire a Legal Assistant for their law firm client. This is a permanent position.

Position: Legal Assistant

Location: Fredericksburg, VA

Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 2+ years Personal Injury plaintiff experience

• Experience in conducting Intake interviews with new clients

• Experience with liens, including liens associated with ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers compensation

• Experience with complex, high volume cases

• Experience with case management system

Salary: $50-56k DOE

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant

• Proficiency in Personal Injury Litigation is essential

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

• Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must

• Should have a strong understanding of legal procedures and protocols

• Must have a high level of professionalism and discretion due to the confidential nature of the role

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required

• Must have strong research and report-writing skills

• Experience in drafting and proofreading legal documents is essential

• Must be detail-oriented and have strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential

• Must have a strong understanding of legal terminology and court system

• Experience in managing and maintaining databases and tracking systems is required.
