Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Technician, Engineering - Skilled in Fremont, California. The role entails providing technical support to engineers and scientists, developing procedures and methods, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The position involves technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective action. It also includes supporting the creation, updating, and editing of component material assessments (CMAs). This role is within the Quality Function, supporting the Product Environmental Compliance team.

Hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on various technical tasks

• Develop and recommend procedures and methods for efficient workflow

• Prepare technical reports and documentation to keep track of project progress

• Conduct technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions

• Support the creation, updating, and editing of component material assessments (CMAs)

• Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status

• Uphold the standards of the Quality Function and the Product Environmental Compliance team

• Utilize skills in Documentation, Training, Procedures, Technical Support, Materials Handling, Quality, Engineering, Methods, Suppliers, Decision-Making, Editing, Corrective Action, Scientists, and Environmental Compliance for optimal performance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Knowledge gained through professional experience, specialized education, or training is essential.

• A basic understanding of work routines and procedures in your discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required.

• An eye for detail is a must.

This role involves well-defined guidelines and tasks with clear procedures to aid in decision making. Anticipated activities encompass a variety of work routines within well-defined procedures.
