We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Fresno, California, for a meticulous and organized Accounting Specialist. The role is within the telecom industry, where you will be expected to utilize your skills in Accounting Software Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly

• Resolve any customer credit inquiries professionally and promptly

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary to collect delinquent payments

• Efficiently manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Carry out billing functions and check processing tasks with attention to detail

• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all accounting tasks are completed accurately and on schedule

• Continually seek to improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Familiarity with accounting functions.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Knowledge of billing functions.

• Experience in check processing is required.
