Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Frisco, Texas, 75034, United States. As an integral part of our team, you will play a critical role in the expense reporting for their A/P department.
Responsibilities:
• Managing and processing complex expense reports.
• Accurately processing customer credit applications.
• Maintaining precise customer credit records.
• Overseeing the accounts payable operations.
• Timely and accurate review and recording of international and domestic vendor invoices.
• Processing check requests for payments, including reviewing, scanning, coding, entering, and ensuring appropriate supporting documentation and approval levels.
• Creating batches for assigned weekly payment runs.
• Responding to vendor and internal inquiries, and research to resolve concerns or discrepancies.
• Providing support as required by Accounting Management.
• Thoroughly and accurately maintaining files and documentation in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Expense Reporting and Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Experience in Oracle is a plus
• Experience in Concur or Expensify is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy in data entry and financial management
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Experience in the use of financial software would be advantageous
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and professional ethics
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
