Robert Half Sr Controller in Frisco, Texas
Description We are on the search for a meticulous Controller to join our team in Frisco, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily focusing on financial reporting and consolidation roll-up for various locations, supporting audit efforts, and working extensively with US GAAP. This role also involves the management of a team of site Controllers and the use of various tools like NetSuite and Microsoft Excel. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting and consolidation roll-up for various locations
• Support current audit as well as future audit efforts for the coming years
• Ensure effective financial management through consolidation and PPA accounting experience
• Use NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to manage and consolidate financial data
• Handle intercompany transactions involving money movement
• Manage a team of site Controllers, each having a small staff team
• Drive the role independently, with strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP in all financial operations
• Review and manage team's work while also being hands-on with tasks
• Work on account reconciliation and bank reconciliations as required.
Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience with NetSuite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Multi-Site and Multi-Unit operations
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with Consolidations
• Experience with Audit and Annual Internal Audit
• Skill in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations. Requirements • Proven experience as a Controller with at least 15 years in the field
• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and NetSuite
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in a Multi-Site and Multi-Unit environment
• Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP
• Expertise in Audit processes including Financial Audit and Annual Internal Audit
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of financial consolidations
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in team management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field; Master's degree or CPA certification would be a plus
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
