Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate records, processing customer applications, and resolving customer inquiries. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing and recording of company's accounts receivable

• Efficient handling of cash collections and cash applications

• Conduct daily reconciliation tasks

• Journalize financial transactions for record keeping

• Handle month-end transfer duties efficiently

• Prepare and execute bank transfers as required

• Maintain and reconcile ledger balances for escrow accounts

• Record revenue for escrow accounts and ensure accurate record keeping

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to pull reports in specific formats

• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for various financial tasks

• Perform commercial collections tasks when required

• Contribute to year-end closing tasks as needed

• Perform any other tasks related to accounts receivable and payments. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, to ensure accurate financial records.

• Proficient knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), to manage the organization's income.

• Experience in Billing, to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Ability to handle Cash Applications, to manage the organization's cash flow effectively.

• Experience with Cash Collections, to maintain the organization's income stream.

• Familiarity with Commercial Collections, to manage the organization's receivables.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, for efficient data management and reporting.

• Experience with Oracle, to manage the company's financial data effectively.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, for efficient bookkeeping and financial management.

• Knowledge of SAP, for effective management of business operations and customer relations.

• Experience in Daily Reconciliation, to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Familiarity with Year End Closings, to ensure accurate annual financial reporting.
