We are seeking a skilled Payroll Processor with expertise in UltiPro (UKG) software to join our team. As a Payroll Processor, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, and delivering timely and error-free paychecks to our employees. Proficiency in UltiPro software is essential for this role, as you will be utilizing its features and functionalities extensively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner using UltiPro software.

• Processing garnishments, with a bi-weekly payroll.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies.

• Review timekeeping records and address any discrepancies or issues before processing payroll.

• Generate payroll reports and provide relevant data for audits and financial reporting.

• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies.

• Process and track employee benefits, deductions, and contributions, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and garnishments.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and UltiPro software updates to ensure compliance and efficiency.

• Prepare and distribute paychecks or electronic deposits to employees, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Assist in year-end payroll processes, including W-2 and 1099 form generation, and reconciliation.

Certified Payroll, Benefits Payroll, Full Cycle Payroll, UltiPro, Microsoft Excel, Payroll - Garnishments

• A great attitude and a team player attitude.

• Proven work experience as a Payroll Processor or in a similar payroll-focused role.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with UltiPro (UKG) software is essential.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and wage and hour laws.

• Proficient in using payroll software and systems, with the ability to navigate UltiPro's functionalities effectively.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering error-free payroll.

• Solid understanding of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve payroll discrepancies or issues.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees and other departments.

• High level of integrity and ethics, with a commitment to maintaining payroll compliance.
