Description
We are inviting applications for the role of a Staff Accountant in our construction and contracting company, located in Ft Worth, Texas, 76134, United States. This role involves managing and updating account and project information, balancing bank and credit card statements, and preparing detailed reports for senior management.
Responsibilities:
Enter accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
Conduct an initial review of team member timecard entries for accuracy.
Create and manage new customer and project records in QuickBooks (QB).
Maintain up-to-date accounts and project information.
Compile and generate reports for management review.
Calculate, record, and process charges, refunds, and adjustments.
Prepare vouchers, invoices, accounting statements, and various financial reports.
Requirements
Must Have:
1 year of QuickBooks experience.
B.S. in Accounting/Finance or 4+ years of relevant experience.
Willingness to pursue QuickBooks Certification.
Nice-to-Have:
Job-costing experience and/or experience in a construction company.
Payroll exposure.
QuickBooks Certified.
