Robert Half Billing Analyst in Garden City, New York
Description
Robert Half has partnered with a leading Nassau County organization seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed billing operations, analyzing billing processes, and conducting data analysis tasks. The successful candidate will also be expected to propose and implement system optimizations which will increase performance and generate revenue.
Main Duties
Manage and coordinate all billing functions.
Analyze and maintain all customer billing and revenue data.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Conduct complex data analysis tasks using Excel.
Research, resolve and communicate any billing discrepancies.
Coordinate internal and external audits and implement corrective action plans.
Improve and implement billing system customization to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
Prepare monthly and periodic reports on billing activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Aid in financial planning and cost analysis.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Proven experience as a billing analyst.
Excellent knowledge and proficiency in Excel.
Strong aptitude in number crunching and data analysis.
Excellent understanding of billing procedures.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Strong proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
The candidate must demonstrate a capability for problem-solving, decision making, sound judgment, and assertiveness while maintaining a professional decorum.
