Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Gardena California, within the IT Software industry. The role involves overseeing the company's financials, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient processes and procedures. You will also be responsible for leading the accounting team and liaising with external accounting firms for audits and tax matters.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and accurate monthly and year-end closure of accounts.

• Oversee the production of financial reports to meet set timelines.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting responsibilities for the company.

• Oversee the company's banking operations and ensure sufficient internal controls are in place.

• Monitor and analyze department workflow and implement more efficient processes and procedures to maintain high levels of accuracy.

• Oversee, guide, train, and manage the accounting team, providing ongoing support and direction on their day-to-day duties and deliverables.

• Prepare financial reports for monthly Leadership meetings.

• Collaborate with external Accounting Firms for taxes and audits.

• Oversee payroll processing and benefits and 401K administration.

• Participate in group benefit selection and proposals.

• Advocate for the company and inspire and lead departments to adhere to the company's mission and positive culture.

Skills:

• Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports.

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience with Auditing and Budget Processes.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.

• Knowledge of CRM platforms.

• Ability to work with Crystal Reports.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Skills in Auditing procedures and standards.

• Knowledge of Budget Processes.
