Robert Half Accounting Assistant in GEORGETOWN, Kentucky
Robert Half Lexington is looking to hire Accounting Clerks. Accounting Clerk positions are usually entry-level, not a lot of experience required. Candidates should have solid interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with basic Microsoft Office applications. Responsible for a manufacturing company part setups and maintenance of parts within the system for a company. This role will also help in analyzing Work-in-progress job orders, book correcting JE's where needed as well as analyzing and performing inventory adjustments for accuracy as well as perform, research and assist in cost rolls. They will also assist in other accounting areas such as AR and AP as needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Typical duties include:
• Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
• Performing data entry
• Inventory adjustments
• Research cost rolls
• Assisting with the processing of accounts
payable and accounts receivable
Required Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Knowledge of manufacturing and cost accounting
Helpful Skills: Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards - E1
Education: High School
Experience Required: 2-3 years
