Robert Half IT Support Technician in Georgetown, South Carolina

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an IT Support Technician in Georgetown, South Carolina. This role falls within the non-profit industry and will be based onsite. The selected candidate will be part of a team where they will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including ticket response, basic IT support, and maintaining the organization's website.

Responsibilities:

• Responding promptly and effectively to incoming support tickets

• Providing technical assistance to staff and users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues

• Assisting in maintaining and updating the organization's website

• Managing audio-visual (AV) requirements for public meetings

• Utilizing Spiceworks and other relevant tools to manage and resolve IT issues

• Participating in training sessions to improve technical skills and understanding of the organization's IT systems

• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes

• Working closely with the team to manage customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Handling Android Development, Cisco Technologies, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Apple Devices, and Computer Hardware

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and implementing them into the work environment when appropriate. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development is required.

• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is necessary.

• Knowledge of Mac Computers is mandatory.

• Expertise in Microsoft software and systems is essential.

• Experience with Active Directory is needed.

• Proficiency in handling Apple Devices is required.

• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is necessary.

• Previous experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit industry is preferred.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively address technical issues.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
