Description
Specialized, manufacturer located in the North Wales, PA area seeks a Staff Accountant with public accounting expertise. As the Staff Accountant, you will assist with cost accounting, aid in the month end close process, perform account reconciliations, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, assist with inventory maintenance, analyze general ledger activity, and create financial schedules. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.
Everyday Responsibilities
· Support daily accounting functions
· Month End/Year End Close
· Inventory Reconciliations
· Maintain general ledger
· Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
· Journal Entries
· Assist with annual audits
· Process Improvement
· Resolve accounting discrepancies
· Ad hoc accounting projects
Requirements
The ideal Staff Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Staff Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· 1+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel
· Strong analytical skills
