Description

As the HSE Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures that ensure the health, safety, and environmental standards of our operations. You will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.

HSE Manager Responsibilities

  • Administers the attendance and safety incentives for each month.

  • Supports company policies, dress codes, work rules, safety rules, and ethics.

  • Supports the day-to-day operation of the Company wide EH& S program.

  • Monitors and documents compliance with applicable OSHA, Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

  • Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence

  • Prepares required reports to corporate headquarters

  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety culture and enhance safety awareness

  • Maintains library of safety and environment documentation and revises when necessary.

  • Documents and monitors prevention training and reporting on accidents and injuries.

HSE Manager Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards

  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and training

  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Must be a “Team Player' and have strong work ethics.

    Requirements • Possession of basic office skills including but not limited to filing, sorting, and managing paperwork.

• Proficient in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and practices, and ability to apply them in a manufacturing setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using office software such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

• Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification. Higher qualifications in business administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
