Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Glen Allen, Virginia
Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer situated in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves providing top-tier legal services in various areas of law, with a focus on Casualty Defense, Employment Litigation, and Commercial Litigation.
Responsibilities:
• Represent and provide legal advice to clients in general liability and casualty claims, including commercial transportation, construction injury and defect, premises liability claims, and more.
• Participate in litigation of insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts throughout Virginia.
• Handle representation of plaintiffs and defendants in diverse business disputes including breach of contract and unfair competition.
• Deal with complex cases involving anti-trust, construction disputes, intellectual property, and commercial real estate disputes.
• Manage shareholder and partnership disputes along with employment disputes and covenants not to compete matters.
• Provide clients with legal advice, counseling, representation in litigation, and training in all aspects of employment.
• Represent self-insured businesses, multi-line insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in casualty claims.
• Handle cases involving products liability, dram shop/liquor liability, and toxic tort liability.
• Aggressively defend clients’ interests in arbitrations, at trial, and in settlement conferences.
• Provide legal advice on insurance coverage for both property and casualty claims. Requirements • Must hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• At least 2 years of professional experience as an Attorney/Lawyer
• Proven experience in Employment Litigation and Commercial Litigation
• Familiarity with Complex Commercial Litigation, Casualty Claims, and Casualty Insurance
• Possess knowledge and understanding of Property Casualty Insurance, Liability, and Liability Insurance
• Proficiency in Personal Injury Law and Personal Injury Litigation
• Experience in handling cases related to Breach of Contract and Employment Discrimination
• Expertise in Construction Law is required
• Ability to work independently and within a team on complex matters
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
