Robert Half Cash Application Specialist in Glen Allen, Virginia
Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Cash Application Specialist to work with us in the wine industry, based in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves managing accounts receivable, using various accounting software systems, and handling billing functions. The successful candidate will also be required to oversee cash applications and activity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle cash applications and ensure they are correctly applied in the accounting system
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Crystal Reports, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in daily duties
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure they are processed correctly
• Perform billing functions and ensure all invoices are sent out in a timely manner
• Manage cash activity and ensure all cash transactions are recorded accurately
• Use Great Plains (GPAC) software in the management of financial data
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Maintain accurate customer credit records Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
• Competence in Great Plains (GPAC)
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Proficiency in Billing Functions
• Ability to handle Cash Activity
• Experience in Cash Applications
• Must not have any criminal record or pending criminal charges
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country
• Must have a detail oriented demeanor and strong communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
