Robert Half IT Auditor in Glendale, California

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an IT Auditor in Glendale, California. This role is based within the financial services industry and will involve conducting SOX ITGC testing and ERP pre-implementation review projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading SOX ITGC testing and ERP pre-implementation review projects

• Ensuring all IT audit processes are compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations

• Conducting regular audits to ensure financial procedures are being followed

• Identifying areas of risk within the organization and proposing solutions to mitigate these risks

• Collaborating with team members to improve audit procedures and processes

• Documenting audit findings and preparing reports for management

• Assisting with the preparation of audit reports and presentation materials for the Audit Committee

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and changes in IT and auditing standards

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the implementation of audit recommendations

• Providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field of IT auditing.

• Proven expertise in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance is necessary.

• Proficiency in performing audits is required.

• Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed.

• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professional ethics.

• Advanced knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software applications.

• Familiarity with audit methodologies and techniques is mandatory.

• Must have a strong understanding of IT governance and controls.

• Candidates should possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is highly desirable.

• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is required.

• Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Must have strong project management skills.
