Description

We are offering a role in the construction/contractor industry based in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota, United States. This position involves the job function of an Accounts Payable Specialist, requiring the successful candidate to perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and processing of accounts payable for our organization. The workplace is a dynamic environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing a new software system to streamline accounts payable functions

• Processing invoice routing manual entry with a strong focus on attention to detail

• Conducting internal combinations and maintaining professional interactions with clients

• Assisting in the training schedule for new recruits in the role

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting software systems for data entry and record keeping

• Reporting to accounting and finance department heads for task delegation and consultation

• Handling accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Check Processing

• Resolving any discrepancies in the accounts payable process

• Promoting dependability and a strong business acumen in daily operations

• Cooperating with the CFO and other team members on finance-related tasks

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will have skills in Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, and Data Entry.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Check Processing tasks

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Excellent problem-solving skills for handling Discrepancies

• Proven experience in the Construction/Contractor industry

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.
