Description
Robert Half Legal is recruiting for an exciting Corporate Paralegal opportunity. This role involves supporting various labor and employment law matters, contracts administration, and corporate compliance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting internal investigations, maintaining employee records, and ensuring corporate compliance with labor policies. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience in employment law and contract drafting. This will be a dynamic, rewarding, and highly visible role across the C-Suite leadership team.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with hiring processes, annual employee reviews, and terminations.
• Draft, review, format, and proofread various documents including non-compete agreements, non-disclosure agreements, offer letters, employment contracts, severance agreements, and employee handbooks.
• Upload documents into company databases and adhere to company recordkeeping policies.
• Conduct internal investigations and maintain accurate employee records.
• Liaise with trade unions and ensure corporate compliance with labor policies.
• Assist the company with external regulatory requests from administrative agencies.
• Stay informed about the latest changes in labor and employment legislation that could affect the company.
• Maintain strong internal relationships across the leadership team and provide exceptional service.
• Manage projects across Human Resources, Legal, and Compliance Department.
• Utilize various software and management systems such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and others for efficient workflow and task completion.
Requirements
• Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably within a corporate legal department
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Case Management Software is required
• Must possess skills in Westlaw and other Document Management Systems
• Ideal candidates will have Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
