Description • Conducts strategies and designs for IT systems security architecture • Devises security features in cloud-based applications following established architecture paradigms • Continually enhances and preserves the Azure platform's security disposition • Sets security procedures by assessing company business plans, security concerns, and compliance needs • Structures security controls, guidelines, and appropriate data, applications, and system access based on roles • Oversees and directs IT Security and Security Architecture tasks according to best practices • Takes note of alerts to safeguard data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks • Plans access configurations within a cloud solution setting using security best practices and defense-in-depth principles • Evaluates system security procedures and performs necessary architectural guidance, improvements, and changes to secure policy adherence • Contributes to projects; carries out security-related project architecture tasks related to MS365/O365 and MS Azure settings, leads work processes • Collaborates with network and cloud architecture teams to review and approve design and installation requirements • Confirms security systems by crafting and implementing test scripts for requirements verification • Uses and implement cloud native tools such as Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel • Addresses, inspects, and provides solutions for escalated security incidents as reported by SOC analyst teams • Responsible for regular testing and treatment of web applications, network and systems security • Stays updated on emerging security practices and standards, and takes part in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge • Collaborates with department heads to reinforce end user compliance with IT and security standards • Aligns enterprise with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks Required Background: • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security/Computer Science or similar • At least 5 years of practical experience in IT Security within Azure environments • Skills in cloud Security aspects, security concepts, Windows operating systems, scripting languages, Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and Terraform, etc • Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer, CCSK, CompTIA Security+, GIAC or SANS certifications, etc • Experience in network, system or application design, MS Azure expertise, MS365 Intune MDM device and policy management, SIEM, etc • Deep understanding of security standards and cyber security frameworks, NIST, ISO 27K, SOC 2 • Strong communication, time management skills, and a quick learner Preferred Background: • Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field • Experience in a regulated field Requirements Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, AB Testing, Auditing, AWS Technologies, Configuration Management, Cyber Security, Microsoft Azure, Comptia A+, SOC, NIST Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
