Description
We are offering a short-term Part-time 25 hours a week contract employment opportunity for a Senior Digital Designer to join our team located in Golden Valley, Minnesota (Prefer Local candidates open to 100% Remote)
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end design and development of brand websites in alignment with brand guidelines and strategic goals
• Ensure website accessibility meets latest WCAG Level AA standards, enhancing user experience for all
• Utilize data-driven insights to optimize website performance for engagement and conversion
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions
• Advocate for enterprise design best practices, ensuring scalability, consistency, and efficiency across digital platforms
• Develop and maintain enterprise design systems using Figma and Figjam
• Mentor junior designers on design principles, industry trends, and emerging tech
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies, advocating for their integration
• Design intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate design concepts
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure user needs are met throughout the product lifecycle
• Conduct usability and accessibility tests, incorporating user feedback for iterative improvements
• Deliver responsive website designs in line with digital best practices and brand guidelines
• Keep abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and tools in UX/UI design.
Requirements
Proven experience (3+ years) as a digital designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing website design projects.
Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Deep understanding of web design principles, usability, and accessibility standards (WCAG Level AA).
Experience implementing data-driven design solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse stakeholders.
Experience working in an agile environment and adapting to fast-paced project timelines.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
