Robert Half Management Resources is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join one of our manufacturing clients on an interim basis. This immediate opportunity requires a professional who can support our accounting processes in a hybrid capacity, balancing on-site presence with some remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP accounting and experience working with SAP or similar large ERP systems, including GRIR, AR, AP, and other related functions.

Responsibilities:

• Support and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and general ledger activities.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile and analyze various balance sheet accounts, including GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt).

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and other financial transactions in compliance with GAAP.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and support overall business operations.

• Utilize SAP or similar ERP systems to maintain accurate financial records and streamline accounting processes.

• Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in SAP or other large ERP systems is required.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

• Experience with GRIR, AR, AP, and other relevant accounting functions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
